Grow your own food with this low tech, no tech heavy duty growing bin using the Kratky method. Very easy, low maintenance. No pumps or motors to fail in a power outage costing you your entire crop. Simply plant it, check water level every few weeks and continue on with your everyday life and let mother nature work her magic. Kit includes two heavy duty grey 23-3/4" x 17-1/4" x 8" high impact polypropylene tubs, matching lids with eight 3" holes drilled. Seven 3" net pots for both lids to hold growing medium (a few clay pebble in the bottom of each net pot for some weight and coco coir on top works great). One kitchen sink stopper per lid for the remaining hole allowing for easy access to add nutrient solution water, checking water levels, PH, TDS, etc. (Sink stopper is a snug fit so no light penetrates threw into the water, just give it a slight squeeze and push into place). These tubs are extremely durable rated to hold up to 100 lbs. and extremely UV resistant. They are reusable for many years to come with some care. If a bubbler was added to the water you can expect even more vigorous growth from your plants.
